Huge Congratulations to the team at Cambridge Belfry Hotel. These guys are a great example of how easy it is to apply self adhesive vinyl graphics! Rather than ordering a new dieboind sign everytime, PrintHut.co.uk just supply new self adhesive vinyls and they stick them all. Just take a look at their handy work, virtually no bubbles! Check out out below how to do it yourself and avoid installation costs:

What you will need to hang graphics on windows, doors, signs and Vehicles

  1. Window Cleaning product
  2. Empty spray bottle filled with tap water
  3. Sharp surgical scalpel with brand new blade
  4. Good weather

Always produce the graphic oversize and not ordered to the exact size. The very last part of the application process is going to be trim back to the correct size. We recommend at least 5cm around each dimension of the printed material, this extra material will probably have no impact at all on price so do not think, 2cm on each dimension will be a cheaper print order because it won’t!!!

Next wait for a good day if applying outside and thoroughly clean the surface. Next add a drop only of washing up liquid to the water in the spray bottle. You will now be looking to achieve a thin cloud of water on the surface where the printed graphics are going to be positioned. Don’t over – water the surface, you are not looking to get it wet just a thin layer of condensation.

Now peel of the graphics and quickly slide them into place, if the graphics are not sliding apply a further cloud of water. Once down, push out any bubbles using a ruler. If you are left with stubborn bubbles, just prick them with a pin. Once in position, allow the water cloud to evaporate under the graphics and for the glue to bind. Once dry, trim back with the scalpel and remove excess vinyl.
