Thanks to everyone for their kind words on their Christmas cards, however next year have a hard think about how powerful a Christmas Card can be as a piece of marketing material. Remember that only 20% of your clients will know 80% of what you do, or put another way 80% of your clients only buy 20% of your products. So tell them what you do. Almost all of our cards this year have wished Print Hut a Happy Christmas and all that stuff, but have not given us any update on their products and services. Next year folks start to use that empty page 2 (inside front cover) and start to sell yourselves more. There is nothing worse than a customer saying 'well we didin't know you offered that!!!'  I bet you only communicate with your clients once a year around Christmas so make it a bit more intelligent.

1. The first meal eaten on the moon by astronauts Neil Armstrong and 'Buzz' Aldrin was cold roast turkey.

2. The costume for Sesame Street's Big Bird is made from around 40,000 white turkey feathers that have been dyed yellow.

3. In Turkey (the country) it is forbidden to eat turkey (the bird) during Seker Bayrami, the three-day festival to ¬celebrate the end of Ramadan.

Then there’s the second helpings, the alcohol, the Pringles, half a Terry's Chocolate Orange and a handful of Quality Street, more alcohol, Cheese Footballs, Twiglets and 'Eat Me' Dates, perhaps some sausage rolls and cold turkey sarnies for tea, and the calories consumed over the whole day can reach 6,000!

Took advantage of the long waits in between press passing the 3 different sections to do a bit of Christmas shopping. Delighted to find that Call of Duty is available on the WII. Couldnt help but to buy 2 hand guns as well. This was meant for the kids though! Think I will keep it!
